RACKLESS LUGGAGE – BUILT FOR NARROW BIKES
At the heart of the system is the Structural Center Piece, which sits on the rear of the motorcycle between the two bags. This rigid structural element distributes the load evenly, stabilises the entire system and allows the width of the Hailstorm 35 to be adjusted. Thanks to this adjustable design, the system can be adapted to different seat widths and rear layouts, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of motorcycles. The Structural Center Piece can also be used in combination with the Anchor Point for Hailstorm for rear mounting without straps (Anchor Point not included)

The Hailstorm 35 is equipped with the CRR Breakaway System, which is designed to reduce the risk of damage and injury in the event of a crash or if the luggage gets caught on an obstacle. The CRR break piece is integrated into the system and can be replaced if necessary

Each bag features three patented Enduristan Standard Interfaces, allowing modular expansion with additional accessories. The interfaces are positioned on the flap (1×3), on the front (2×2) and on the rear (2×4), making it easy to attach add-on bags exactly where they are needed.

Under the left flap, a drawstring system allows small items to be secured quickly. Under the right flap, a zipper pocket provides protected storage for documents or smaller gear.

The Hailstorm 35 comes with perfectly fitting inner bags that match the shape of the outer bags exactly. This allows you to remove all your gear in one go without taking the off the motorcycle – ideal when staying in a hotel or setting up camp. The inner bags feature a carrying handle and attachment points for an optional shoulder strap (not included).

To protect the motorcyclerotective stickers are included to prevent scratcheswherecomes into contact with the bike. Depending on the motorcycle and exhaust position, we recommend fitting an additional heat shield (not included).

Like all Enduristan products, the Hailstorm 35 is fully water-, dust-, mud- and snowproof – no inner bag required – and designed specifically for use on motorcycles.

Hailstorm 35 - klare Empfehlung für alle, die leicht, robust und ohne Gepäckträger reisen wollen.

Seit 2013 nutze ich Enduristan-Produkte auf meinen Motorradreisen rund um die Welt und bin immer sehr zufrieden. Die Hailstorm 35 nutze ich auf meiner Suzuki DR350 in Australien, oft unter Bedingungen, die das Material wirklich fordern: harter Offroad-Einsatz, Staub, Wellblechpisten, Regen und Hitze.

Besonders überzeugt mich bei der Hailstorm das Structural Center Piece, das auf dem Heck zwischen den beiden Taschen sitzt. Die Montage ist simpel und das System ist optimal für schmale Reiseenduros ausgelegt. Kein sperriger Gepäckträger, und trotzdem sitzen die Taschen stabil und sicher – auch im anspruchsvollen Gelände.

Auch die zahlreichen Befestigungsmöglichkeiten waren für mich schon mehrfach ein echter Vorteil, wenn ich kurzfristig zusätzliches Gepäck mitnehmen musste oder nasses Camping-Equipment außen befestigen wollte, statt den Inhalt der Taschen zu verschmutzen.

Ein weiteres sehr gut durchdachtes Produkt von Enduristan, das ich klar empfehlen kann.

Hailstorm 35 und Sidekick 10

Also: Dass der Sidekick 10 zum Hailstorm 35 empfohlen wird, hat Enduristan ja gesagt. Aber dass er eigentlich wie dafür gemacht ist, hättet Ihr ja schon mal erwähnen können. Passt wie hingeworfen, absolut top! Jetzt brauche ich noch zwei Sidekick 5 für darunter.

Rackless Motorradtaschen die funktionieren!

Ich hab mir seit langem ein Rackless-System von Enduristan mit Supportplatte gewünscht. Die 35L version habe ich auf einer KTM 390 ADV R montiert und es funktionierte ohne weitere Probleme - nur mit dem von Enduristan mitgeliefertem Material.
An den Kanten des Plastiks würde ich zusätzlichen Fetzen Stoff verwenden, da die Platte bei intensivem Offroad die Motorradverschalung minimal verkratze.

Clean inner bags - what a joy

The Hailstorm 35 is exactly the kind of rackless luggage system I have been hoping for. Instead of relying on removable duffel bags, it uses integrated inner bags that stay clean in dirty conditions.
If the Hailstorm proves to be as indestructable as my Blizzard 2, I expect to enjoy using it for many years to come. The overall build quality and attention to detail certainly inspire confidence.
